Chronology of cameras Foto-Quelle

This model with its austere appearance is a pseudo-panoramic camera. This means it has a wide-angle lens (28 mm) and its frame height is restricted by a mask (non-removable in this case) that will produce horizontal black bands at the top and bottom of the negative. During print development, the photographer will need to cut these two bands to obtain a photo that is much wider than it is tall.

A patent number is engraved under the sole, corresponding to a patent filed in 1986 by Haking for a double exposure prevention system.
